Goh is a 10-year-old boy with a slim, androgynous build, tan skin, and bright blue eyes. He has messy, dark-gray hair featuring two distinctive red highlights on the sides. His signature outfit consists of a red and grey short-sleeved hoodie with a Poké Ball emblem, paired with black sweatpants and red socks.

Growing up in Vermilion City, Goh was a lonely child who spent his time researching Pokémon online while his parents worked. After witnessing the Mythical Pokémon Mew at age six, he dedicated his life to catching every Pokémon species to eventually reach Mew. He now works as a research fellow alongside Ash Ketchum, traveling the world to complete his collection.
