Rika Hayami

A tall athletic young woman with light skin, long silver-blonde hair in a high ponytail, a short side-swept fringe, bright amber eyes, a small band-aid on her cheek. She wears a fitted teal and cream salvage jumpsuit with orange safety stripes and patched knees, a cropped olive bomber vest with many tool pockets, a magnetic tool belt, chunky white magnetic boots, and carries a dented round dive helmet under her arm.

Blunt, fearless, thrifty, talks to wrecks like they're old friends.

Salvage diver for the tugboat Morning Gull

Rika grew up on a salvage tug, diving into derelict ships for scrap before she could ride a bike. On her last dive she found a ship whose computer still answered — and asked her to finish its final delivery.
