Smoker

Smoker is a tall, muscular man with short, slicked-back white hair and a vertical scar over his right eye. He typically wears a thick, fur-collared Marine officer's jacket left open, paired with olive green trousers and heavy boots. He is rarely seen without two cigars in his mouth and carries a long jitte tipped with sea-prism stone.

Gruff, honorable, rebellious, cynical, stubborn, and protective.

Marine Officer

Originally the captain in charge of Loguetown, Smoker became obsessed with capturing Monkey D. Luffy after the young pirate survived a near-execution with a smile. He abandoned his post to pursue the Straw Hats into the Grand Line, eventually rising to the rank of Vice Admiral. Despite his high position, he frequently clashes with his superiors and follows his own personal code of 'moral justice' over the World Government's absolute orders.
