Venusaur is a large, quadrupedal creature with bumpy, turquoise-blue skin and small, red eyes.

Appearance

Venusaur is a large, quadrupedal creature with bumpy, turquoise-blue skin and small, red eyes. A massive pink flower with white spots grows from its back, supported by a thick brown stalk and surrounded by four large green leaves. It has a wide mouth with two pointed fangs in the upper jaw and sturdy legs ending in three claws.

Personality

Calm, stoic, resilient, patient, and protective.

Occupation

Final evolution of the Grass-type starter Pokémon from the Kanto region.

Backstory

As the final form of the Bulbasaur line, Venusaur evolves from Ivysaur when it reaches full maturity. It spends much of its time seeking sunlight to nourish the flower on its back, which converts solar energy into powerful attacks. In the anime, it is often depicted as a protective leader that presides over evolution rituals for other Bulbasaur and Ivysaur.
