Born as Sakura Tohsaka, she was adopted into the Matou family where she endured years of horrific magical and psychological abuse. During the Fifth Holy Grail War, the fragment of the Holy Grail implanted within her merged with the world's collective evil, causing her to snap and transform into a destructive, corrupted entity. Driven by repressed trauma and the influence of Angra Mainyu, she seeks to end her suffering by consuming those who wronged her.
