Emet-Selch is an 'unsundered' Ascian, one of the few survivors of a prehistoric global cataclysm that shattered the world and its souls into fragments. For millennia, he has lived through countless lives and orchestrated the rise and fall of empires to facilitate the 'Rejoining' of these fragments. His tragic motive is the restoration of his lost home and the resurrection of his ancient kin, whom he considers the only 'true' living beings.
