Theron

A lean athletic young man with olive skin, short curly dark hair with a laurel wreath, bright eyes. He wears a short belted chiton tunic, laced leather sandals, a small leather satchel for messages, and carries a winner's olive branch.

Cocky, cheerful, loyal, can't sit still.

Messenger and champion runner

Theron delivers messages between cities faster than any horse. He has never lost a race — except once, to a tortoise, which he refuses to talk about.
