Originally a young prodigy from the Village of Dragons, Iris left her home to travel the Unova region and master the hearts of Dragon-type Pokémon. Through her journey and training under the Dragon Master Drayden, she grew from a wild 'jungle girl' into a formidable trainer. She eventually defeated the previous Champion, Alder, to claim the title of Unova League Champion and later joined the elite Masters Eight.
