Fennekin

Fennekin is a small, quadrupedal fox Pokémon covered in bright yellow fur with a white muzzle. It features oversized ears filled with long, flaring tufts of orange-red fur and large, expressive reddish-orange eyes. Its bushy yellow tail ends in a dark orange-red tip, mirroring the color of its ear tufts.

Temperamental, finicky, loyal, elegant, and playful.

Fire-type Starter Pokémon

Fennekin is one of the three starter Pokémon available to new trainers in the Kalos region from Professor Sycamore. It is known for venting hot air from its ears to intimidate foes and chewing on twigs to fuel its internal fire. In the anime, a Fennekin becomes the first partner of Serena, eventually becoming a skilled performer in Pokémon Showcases.
