Ho-Oh

Ho-Oh is a massive, phoenix-like Pokémon with shimmering red and gold plumage and a distinctive yellow crest. Its wings are tipped with green feathers, while its underside is white and its long, flowing tail is a vibrant green. It possesses sharp black eyes and a powerful yellow beak, often emitting a brilliant, prismatic glow when it flies.

Guardian of the Skies and Creator of the Legendary Beasts

Centuries ago, Ho-Oh perched atop the Bell Tower in Ecruteak City until the Brass Tower was destroyed by fire. In an act of divine power, it resurrected three Pokémon that perished in the flames, transforming them into the Legendary Beasts Raikou, Entei, and Suicune. It now continuously soars through the world's skies, leaving rainbows in its wake while searching for a pure-hearted trainer to whom it will reveal its true splendor.
