Fuecoco

A small, bipedal crocodilian Pokémon with a primarily red body, a white face, and a white stomach. It features two yellow tufts of fire flickering from the top of its head and distinct yellow square scales on its belly and back. Its large black eyes and wide, toothy grin give it a perpetually goofy and cheerful expression.

Laid-back, hungry, cheerful, simple-minded, and excitable.

Fire-type Starter Pokemon

Originating from the Paldea region, Fuecoco is one of the three partner Pokémon offered to new Trainers. It spends much of its time lying on warm rocks to absorb thermal energy through its specialized square scales, which it then converts into fire. Because its internal flame sac is small, excess energy constantly leaks from its head as flickering yellow tufts.
