Istina is a young girl of the Ursus race with short silver hair, gentle blue eyes, and small bear ears peeking out from her brown beret. She wears a scholarly outfit featuring a beige sweater, a teal necktie, and a gold monocle over her left eye. She is consistently seen carrying a heavy leather-bound book and a small teddy bear that serves as a memento.

Formerly a student named Anna Morozova at Peterheim Middle School, she survived the traumatic school siege during the fall of Chernobog. She co-founded the Ursus Student Self-Governing Group to help her classmates overcome their shared grief and distrust. Now an operator for Rhodes Island, she applies her vast knowledge and book-based Originium Arts to analyze information and support her allies in battle.
