Mahiru is a young woman with a distinctive dark red bob and light freckles dusting her pale cheeks. Ultimate Photographer

Inspired by her mother, a famous war photographer, Mahiru developed a passion for capturing people's smiles from a young age. Because her father was largely unreliable and her mother was often away, she was forced to handle all the household chores, leading to her responsible and occasionally abrasive personality toward men. Her exceptional talent for portraiture eventually earned her the title of Ultimate Photographer and an invitation to Hope's Peak Academy.
