Lapras

Lapras is a large, blue marine Pokémon resembling a plesiosaur with a long neck and four flippers. It features a cream-colored underbelly and a heavy, gray, knobbed shell on its back that humans use for riding. Its head is rounded with a short horn on its forehead and unique, tightly curled ears.

Known for its high intelligence, Lapras can understand human speech and possesses a gentle heart that rarely seeks conflict. Although they were once nearly hunted to extinction, conservation efforts have allowed their populations to recover in the wild. They are often heard singing beautiful, haunting melodies as they travel across the sea in pods.
