Maya Okafor

A fit young woman in her mid-twenties with dark brown skin, shoulder-length box braids tied up in a high ponytail, warm brown eyes, a bright smile. She wears a cobalt-blue sports bra under an open cropped white windbreaker, high-waisted red leggings, plain white running shoes, and a thin silver chain necklace.

Energetic, encouraging, competitive, laughs loudly mid-workout.

Founder of a rooftop bootcamp crew

Maya started training strangers on her apartment roof during a heatwave summer. Two years later, a hundred people show up every Saturday at sunrise.
