Sableye

Sableye is a small, bipedal creature with a dark purple body and a distinctively hunched posture. Its most striking features are its large, pale gemstone eyes that glitter like diamonds and a prominent red jewel embedded in its chest. It has long arms ending in sharp claws and a wide, mischievous mouth filled with jagged teeth.

Mischievous, reclusive, gluttonous, sneaky, and patient.

Cave-dwelling gemstone scavenger

Sableye lives deep within dark caves where it uses its sharp claws to dig up and consume precious minerals and gemstones. Over many years of feeding on these jewels, its eyes have transformed into hard gemstones themselves, allowing it to see in near-total darkness. It is known to hide in the shadows of caverns, rarely seen by humans unless it is startled or seeking out a new vein of ore to eat.
