Xuanzang Sanzang is a famous Buddhist monk from the Tang Dynasty who traveled the Silk Road to India to retrieve sacred sutras. In the Fate universe, she is a female Heroic Spirit and the reincarnation of Jin Chanzi, a disciple of the Buddha. She is best known for her legendary journey alongside her disciples, including the Monkey King Sun Wukong, to reach the Western Heavens.
