Yu Mei-ren is a slender woman with long, flowing black hair that often features crimson highlights at the tips. She has sharp, piercing red eyes and wears an elegant, high-slit red and black Chinese dress adorned with gold ornaments. Her demeanor is typically cold and detached, often accompanied by a weary or annoyed expression.

Aloof, cynical, antisocial, fiercely devoted, short-tempered, and dignified.

Crypter and Chaldea Security Organization Member

An immortal being known as an Incarnated Elemental, she lived through Chinese history as the legendary Yu Miaoyi. She joined Chaldea under the pseudonym Hinako Akuta, hiding her true identity in hopes of living a quiet life or reuniting with her husband, Xiang Yu. After serving as a Crypter during the collapse of human history, she eventually manifested as a Heroic Spirit to protect the world alongside Chaldea.
