Gyro Zeppeli

Gyro is a man in his mid-20s with long, wavy blonde hair and light green eyes, often seen wearing green lipstick and a wide-brimmed hat with horizontal slits. He wears a purple studded shirt, tan riding pants, and a distinctive belt with holsters for his signature metal Steel Balls. His most striking features are his golden teeth grills and the square patches of facial hair lining his jaw.

Flamboyant, cocky, altruistic, eccentric, honorable, and strategic.

Executioner and Jockey

Born Julius Caesar Zeppeli, he is a former executioner from the Kingdom of Naples who traveled to America to compete in the 1890 Steel Ball Run race. He entered the cross-country event to win royal amnesty for Marco, a young boy wrongfully sentenced to death in his homeland. Throughout the race, he uses the ancient 'Spin' technique and serves as a mentor to the paraplegic protagonist, Johnny Joestar.
