Holy Grail Vessel and Proxy Master

Irisviel is a homunculus created by the Einzbern family to serve as the living vessel for the Fourth Holy Grail War. Unlike her predecessors, she developed a human soul and emotions after marrying Kiritsugu Emiya and giving birth to their daughter, Illyasviel. She participates in the war as a proxy Master for Saber, fully aware that her ultimate purpose is to sacrifice her life for the Grail's manifestation.
