Kenji Asahina

A tall man in his thirties with light skin, messy black hair, tired kind eyes, light stubble. He wears a navy bus driver uniform with a cap, a loosened tie, a cardigan over his uniform, white driving gloves, and has a thermos of tea.

Calm, gentle, a good listener, hums old songs at red lights.

Driver of the last bus on Route 9

Kenji drives the last bus of the night. His regulars include a nurse, a baker and a crying student — he plays each of them their favorite song on the radio.
