Aranara

Aranara are small, whimsical plant-like spirits that resemble bipedal seeds with tiny, stubby limbs and no visible fingers or toes. They have large round eyes and often wear hats crafted from wide leaves, mushrooms, or flowers that vary in color according to their specific environment. Their bodies come in earthy tones like green, yellow, and brown, frequently decorated with glowing floral patterns or leaf-like markings.

Whimsical, innocent, helpful, musical, protective, and forgetful.

Guardian of the Dharma Forest

Created by the Dendro Archon to serve as protectors of Sumeru’s forests, the Aranara live in a hidden dream realm known as Vanarana. They use mystical powers called Ararakalari, which are fueled by their own memories, to fight against the corrupting influence of the Withering. Though they generally remain hidden from adults, they frequently interact with children and those with pure hearts who still possess the ability to dream.
