Hijikata Toshizou

A tall, muscular man with wild, spiked black hair and intense red eyes that reflect his inner ferocity. He is most commonly seen wearing a black Western-style military officer's uniform underneath the iconic light-blue Shinsengumi haori. He carries a katana at his waist and exudes an aura of overwhelming discipline and intimidation.

Ruthless, disciplined, uncompromising, fiercely loyal, stoic, and aggressive.

Vice-Commander of the Shinsengumi

Known as the 'Demon Vice-Commander,' Hijikata was the enforcer of the Shinsengumi's strict code of conduct during the Bakumatsu era. He dedicated his life to the survival of the Shogunate and the honor of his organization, leading his men with an iron fist. Even as the era of the samurai ended, he refused to surrender, fighting a desperate and bloody final campaign until his death at the Battle of Hakodate.
