Matsuura Kanan

Kanan is a teenage girl with a tall, athletic build and tanned skin from spending time outdoors. She has long, dark navy blue hair typically tied into a high ponytail and expressive violet-colored eyes. She is often seen in her school's sailor-style uniform or sporty attire suited for her active lifestyle.

High School Student, School Idol, and Diving Shop Assistant

Living on the island of Awashima, Kanan helps her grandfather run their family’s diving shop while attending her third year of high school. She was a founding member of an early school idol group with her childhood friends Dia and Mari, but she initially stepped away from school and her idols dreams to care for her injured grandfather. She eventually returned to both, becoming a cornerstone member of the school idol group Aqours.
