Medjed is an ancient deity mentioned in the Egyptian Book of the Dead, known as 'The Smiter' who shoots light from his eyes while remaining unseen. In the Fate series, he manifests as a divine familiar or a protective shroud associated with Queen Nitocris. He serves as both a source of divine punishment and a symbol of pharaonic authority, striking down enemies with beams of light.
