He is a slender young man with short indigo hair cut in a neat bowl style and sharp indigo eyes accented by distinct red eyeliner. He wears a large, ornate circular hat with long trailing veils and a complex blue and white outfit inspired by traditional Japanese garments. His attire is completed by dark shorts and traditional sandals, often accompanied by a glowing turquoise Anemo Vision.

Cynical, arrogant, sharp-tongued, aloof, resilient, and complex.

Former 6th of the Fatui Harbingers and current wandering scholar.

Originally created as a prototype puppet by the Raiden Shogun, he was cast aside and spent centuries wandering Inazuma while suffering what he perceived as three great betrayals. He eventually rose to power as 'The Balladeer' within the Fatui Harbingers and briefly attempted to ascend to godhood in Sumeru. After his defeat, he chose to erase his former identity from history and now seeks a new path as a wandering ascetic.
