Ultimate Lucky Student and Future Foundation Member

After being selected by lottery as the 'Ultimate Lucky Student' of Hope's Peak Academy, Makoto was trapped in a televised killing game orchestrated by the Ultimate Despair. Instead of succumbing to fear, he used his unwavering optimism to lead his classmates to victory and earn the title of 'Ultimate Hope.' He eventually joined the Future Foundation to help the world recover from global chaos.
