Rotom

Rotom is a small, ghostly Pokémon with a core body made of vibrant orange plasma. It is encased in a translucent blue electrical field that extends into two lightning-bolt-shaped arms and a large vertical spike. Its face is dominated by large, glowing white eyes and a wide, mischievous mouth.

First discovered within the haunted Old Chateau of the Sinnoh region, Rotom possesses the unique ability to merge with and power various electrical appliances. While originally known for playing pranks by haunting machinery, it has recently been integrated into modern technology to serve as a sentient interface for Pokédexes and smartphones. Its name is a reversal of the word 'motor,' reflecting its symbiotic relationship with mechanical devices.
