Ivysaur

Ivysaur is a quadrupedal Pokémon with blue-green skin and dark teal spots. It carries a large, unopened pink flower bud on its back that is surrounded by four wide, pointed green leaves. Its eyes are large and reddish-pink, and it possesses two small fangs visible in its upper jaw.

Determined, hardy, territorial, sensitive to sunlight, and focused.

Evolutionary Stage / Combatant

Ivysaur is the evolved form of Bulbasaur and the second stage of the Kanto region's Grass-type starter line. As the plant on its back grows into a heavy bud, Ivysaur's legs grow sturdier and it loses the ability to stand on its hind legs for long periods. When the bud begins to emit a sweet-smelling aroma and the Pokémon spends more time basking in the sun, it is a sign that it is preparing to evolve into Venusaur.
