Magikarp

Magikarp is a medium-sized, reddish-orange fish Pokemon with large, heavy scales and a three-peaked yellow dorsal fin that resembles a crown. It possesses large, vacant eyes and long, thin whiskers that are yellow on males and white on females. Its pectoral and tail fins are white, and it is most often observed aimlessly flopping and splashing on the water's surface.

Weak, pathetic, resilient, hardy, and persistent.

Common Water-type Pokemon

Widely known as the most underpowered Pokemon in the world, Magikarp is famous for its inability to swim against even weak currents. Despite its reputation for being useless, it is a remarkably hardy survivor capable of thriving in nearly any body of water, no matter how polluted. Ancient legends suggest that its ancestors were once far more powerful, and its persistent struggle is the catalyst for its eventual evolution into the mighty Gyarados.
