Mio Kanzaki

A tall slender woman in her early thirties with fair skin, a sleek chin-length black bob, sharp grey eyes behind thin rectangular glasses, a small mole under her lip. She wears a fitted charcoal turtleneck, a long camel trench coat, slim black trousers, black loafers, and carries a stack of manuscript pages and a red pen.

Blunt, workaholic, secretly the biggest fan of her artists.

Senior editor at a manga magazine

Mio has discovered four bestselling artists. Every one of them says their first meeting with her was the worst day of their life — and the best.
