OC Ideas Generator
Get four ready-to-draw original character concepts at a time: a name, a one-line hook, appearance, personality with a flaw, backstory and an ability. Name a fandom such as Jujutsu Kaisen or Genshin Impact to follow its power system, or leave it blank for a world of your own.
What Every OC Idea Includes
Each concept is complete enough to start drawing or writing right away.
- 01
Name and hook
A fitting name plus a one-line concept that tells you what makes the character interesting.
- 02
Appearance
Hair, eyes, outfit and one signature detail — the things that make a design readable at a glance.
- 03
Personality with a flaw
Three to five traits and one weakness, because flaws are what give an OC room to grow.
- 04
Backstory
Two or three sentences with a clear motivation or conflict you can build a story on.
- 05
Ability
A power, skill or role. With a fandom set, it follows that world's rules — quirks, cursed techniques, Visions and more.
- 06
One click to draw
Every idea comes with an image prompt, so Create this OC opens the AI anime generator with the look already filled in.

Frequently Asked Questions
OC Ideas Generator FAQ
Answers about original characters, fandom OCs, originality and drawing your idea.
What is an OC?
OC stands for original character: a character you create yourself, either for your own story or inside an existing fandom.
How does the OC ideas generator work?
Choose a fandom, genre, role and gender, and the generator writes four complete OC concepts with a name, hook, appearance, personality, backstory and ability. Every click gives new ideas.
Can I make an OC for a specific fandom?
Yes. Type the fandom's name and the ability follows its power system. For character art in that style, try fandom OC makers such as the JJK OC Maker, MHA OC Maker or Genshin OC Maker.
Are the ideas original?
The generator is instructed to create new characters and never reuse canon characters or real people. Treat each idea as a starting point and make it yours.
Can I turn an idea into a picture?
Yes. Press Create this OC on any card to open the AI Anime Generator with the character's look already written as a prompt.
Is the OC ideas generator free?
Yes. Generating ideas is free and needs no sign-up, with an hourly limit per visitor. Creating images uses credits.
How can I make a generated OC feel like mine?
Keep the part that excites you and change the rest: rename them with the Anime Name Generator, swap a trait, or give the flaw a personal twist.
